Video Game Bathing

Subtitle

Animal Crossing: New Leaf (Nintendo 3DS)

Your villager or any character in the game can not actually bathe in any form but you can get bathtubs and showers to put into the rooms in your house or a custom museum exhibit. They don't do anything if you interact with them and are for decoration. Collecting minerals can be used to change the color of the objects by visiting Cyrus at the store Re-Tail. If you put any of the objects up for sale at Re-Tail, an NPC animal villager can happen to buy one and it will be in their house.

Arcana Heart

There is an unlockable bonus artwork where Saki Tsuzura fantasizes about Heart Aino taking a bubble bath. The image also appears alongside the other bonus artworks on the cover for an Arcana Heart CD.

Banjo-Kazooie

In Mad Monster Mansion, there is a bathroom that can be accessed through a broken window in the outside roof area of the house. There is a clawfoot bathtub that still has water in it that Banjo can jump into and collect three feathers. Kazooie can technically get in this tub as well by using talon trot and Banjo can also jump in the tub in the Pumpkin transformation.

Battle Chef Brigade

In a dialogue cutscene where Mina first meets Kirin, she will say that you "smell of the unbathed variety" implying Mina forgetting to bathe since she fell asleep early and woke up late not getting a chance to bathe.

Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon

Bloodless is shown taking a blood bath in a clawfoot bathtub that is in the background of her boss room when you first enter just before the fight starts.

Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night

There is a cutscene of Bloodless taking a blood bath in a clawfoot slipper bathtub in her boss room right before the fight against her.

Final Fantasy VII

Final Fantasy VII Remake

The gym at Wall Market has an small room in the back that has an old bathtub and shower combo in it with an item chest in front of it. Aerith's room in Shrina HQ has a clean unit bathtub and shower combo. Neither of the bathtubs seen in this game can be used or interacted with.

Fire Emblem Awakening

Fire Emblem Fates

In all three versions of the game (Birthright, Conquest and Revelations) you can have a public bath with a bathing pool in your fort titled "Hot Spring". All playable characters have chances appearing here randomly taking a bath in it in a swimsuit or a towel if you give them one. The baths are a cut scene where a random assortment of the characters of the same sex will talk about enjoying the baths. You can only bathe with characters of the same sex as whatever you made Kamui / Corrin. Sometimes if you walk into the baths, characters of the opposite sex will be using it which will cause Corrin to flee cancelling the event. The only time you can bathe with the opposite sex is if it is the character you married. The baths serve no actual purpose gameplay wise and all they do is add the character Izana to your units in Birthright and Conquest when you upgrade it. If you marry Izana, one of his conversations with you will be him saying he loves you even more than bubble baths.

Fire Emblem: Three Houses

Fortnite

In various houses in the map, there are clawfoot slipper bathtubs that you can destroy for resources. They are also big enough to jump into and hide.
